Fuel: 91 octane pump gas

Dyno: Rear-wheel horsepower and torque from our in-house dyno (WinPEP 7). The sheet also shows the same intake and reflash with the catalytic converter removed from the stock head pipe, still using the stock muffler (73.52 hp). Peak figures are read from the dyno sheet legend, and the chart curves are traced from the original sheet shown on this page.

Build Notes

The new-generation 2026 KTM 690 SMC R is very impressive out of the box and responds well to mods. With the JB Performance intake and an ECU reflash using only fueling and timing changes, on the stock exhaust, it went from 66.49 to 73.54 rear-wheel hp: a 7 hp gain. We are early in our ECU-flashing development on this platform, and it is a clear step in the right direction. We will keep updating this page as the map is refined and more parts are added.
