About JB Performance

Engineered by Joe Benner

Decades of engine and exhaust building, focused today on making the LC4 single faster — and proving it on the dyno.

The Story

Test It. Measure It. Then Sell It.

JB Performance LLC is the shop of Joe Benner, a Stevens Point, Wisconsin engine and exhaust builder who has been chasing measurable horsepower for more than 25 years. Every part we sell starts the same way: a baseline pull on our in-shop dyno, a design change, and another pull to prove it works.

Joe has run JB Performance Engines & Exhaust since 2013, building race engines and custom exhaust for ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, snowmobiles and personal watercraft. Today the main focus is the KTM 690, Husqvarna 701 and GasGas 700 LC4 platform, where our intakes, Honey Badger downpipe and custom Power Commander 6 maps have taken a stock 60.05 hp Gen 3 bike to 81.65 rear-wheel hp on pump gas.

Heritage

Rossier Engineering “OG” 1998–2009

Before JB Performance LLC, Joe owned and ran Rossier Engineering in Plover, Wisconsin, building engines and designing exhaust systems. The shop still carries that history in its name: "Rossier Engineering 'OG' 1998–2009, DBA JB Performance Engines & Exhaust."

Those years, and everything since, have covered big-bore and stroker packages (like a 2003 CR250 built into a CR280), Yamaha YFZ450 engines with JE pistons and Web cams, ice-racing motors for Central Wisconsin racers, and custom Wossner 100 mm pistons for a PSI 1800cc triple drag sled, one of only six made. The same hands-on, test-everything approach carries into every LC4 part we make today.

The Workshop

Built in Wisconsin

Our workshop in Stevens Point, Wisconsin is where parts are designed, fabricated, dyno-tested and shipped. The dyno lives right in the shop, so every intake, downpipe and map is proven on real bikes before it is sold. In-shop services include dyno tuning, PC6 mapping, ECU reflashing, throttle-body boring, mild porting and full engine work. Products ship nationwide.
