Dyno: Rear-wheel horsepower and torque from our in-house dyno (WinPEP 7). Baseline is the bike in stock form. The middle run is the same build with an Empire exhaust in place of the Honey Badger downpipe (78.15 hp). Peak figures are read from the dyno sheet legend, and the chart curves are traced from the original sheet shown on this page.

Build Notes

A true 20-plus horsepower gain on pump gas: this Gen 3 KTM 690 went from 60.05 hp stock to 81.65 rear-wheel hp. The Big Air intake sits on our insulating tray, wrapped in gold heat-reflecting tape, which helps separate engine heat from the air going down the intake. The bike also runs a smaller lithium battery and a plug-and-play fan switch, and is finished with our Honey Badger downpipe and a PC6 map tuned on pump gas.
