Fuel: 91 octane pump gas

Dyno: Rear-wheel horsepower and torque against a stock Gen 3 baseline, from our in-house dyno (WinPEP 7). The middle run is the downpipe build before the throttle body and head work (81.65 hp). Tuning stopped when the muffler blew apart. A custom cam is in development. Peak figures are read from the dyno sheet legend, and the chart curves are traced from the original sheet shown on this page.

Build Notes

82.83 hp on 91 octane pump gas, and we are not finished. This Gen 3 KTM 690 runs our intake and downpipe, a PC6 tuned on pump gas, a bored stock throttle body and mild porting, while the cam, valves, piston and valve springs are all still stock. The muffler blew apart before tuning was complete, and we believe there is more to find. A custom cam is in the works.
